Information we collect

Account details: your name and email from your sign-in, your first and last name, your User Name, and your confirmation that you are 18 or older.

Pre-Launch list details: first and last name, email, phone if you choose to give it, the User Name you requested, your update consent, and who told you about BuckChats.

What you do in BuckChats: rooms you enter, messages you post, reports and blocks, who referred you and who joined through your referral link.

Basic technical information browsers normally send (device, browser, IP address and logs), used for security and for the admin audit log.

Approximate location (your country) worked out from your IP address, not GPS, when you sign up, open the app and start a live stream. We use it only for account security and fraud checks (for example, noticing a sign-in from an unusual country). Your country is visible only to authorized staff. Raw IP addresses are stored encrypted, only the owner of BuckChats can view them (every view is logged), and they are deleted or anonymized after 90 days unless they are part of an open safety or fraud case. Using a VPN on its own never limits your account.

If you buy a membership, Stripe processes the payment; we receive the plan, status and a Stripe customer reference, not your full card number.

How we use it

To run BuckChats, show your screen name and messages to other members, credit referrals, manage the Pre-Launch list, keep members safe, prevent fraud and improve the service.

A phone number does not mean you agreed to marketing texts; we will ask separately before any text program.

Your choices

You can update your profile, block members and change your skin at any time. In Settings you can download your data, delete your notification history, delete your own room messages (deleted for everyone) and ask to delete your account. Financial, referral and audit records are kept as the law and BuckChats policy require.

When information is shared

BuckChats does not sell personal information. We share it only with providers that help us run the service (such as hosting and Stripe for payments), and when the law requires or it is needed to protect people or the service.

Security and retention

We use reasonable measures to protect information; no online system is perfectly secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and legal requirements: raw IP addresses up to 90 days, staff and security logs 2 years, and financial records as long as the law requires.
